We have been a leading supplier to The Body Shop since the early 1990’s. In this time we have helped to develop various new store concepts, managed many high volume manufacturing programmes to tight deadlines, and supplied fixtures throughout their global network.
Ethical audits of our business and production facilities are conducted on a regular basis by The Body Shop. Environmental issues are paramount in their fixture specification, and our Procurement team plays a key role in sourcing and evaluating ‘eco-friendly’ materials. We have been awarded the Forestry Stewardry Council’s ‘(FSC) Chain of Custody’ certificate, and membership of FIRA International’s ‘clubgreen’
Our latest brief was to reduce budget costs for their new concept Cosmetics fixtures. Initially we have re-designed the integral lighting systems to reduce price and improve accessibility, and reduced the number of individual components, increasing the proportion of common components.
A 10% reduction on planned budget has been achieved immediately with further reductions following in the next phases.
